We’ve chosen to feature Walter Munk Day because it is an absolute treasure trove of ocean history and science. This massive, free community festival brings together everything from deep-sea virtual reality and robotics to a massive showcase on the history of scuba diving and marine archaeology. With over 70 exhibits, food trucks, and even a special 50th-anniversary celebration of the movie JAWS, it’s the ultimate family day out for curious minds.
